Special Event: Handbuilding with Slabs (functional wares)

Your group will learn to make functional objects such as mugs, jars or vases (choose after booking) in our hand-building room during this private 2-hr event. You will be given a brief introductory demonstration by a professional and will be provided with tools and clay for everyone. When finished, you will leave your pieces with us, we will fire and glaze them for you. Pieces are ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks! (max 16 participants)

Note: Instructional time lasts approx. 15-20 minutes. Final 10 minutes is reserved for cleanup and labelling/storing work onto shelves.

***We cannot guarantee any piece of pottery individually; due to the nature of the activity, some pieces may not survive due to inexperience or improper technique (too thick/thin walls/bottom, cracking from poor compression, etc)***
