Are you a homeschool family interested in enrichment classes for your child? You can either sign up for one of our daytime homeschool classes (some starting at 11am, 1pm, or 1:30pm) or you can select any of our other classes found on our main Class Calendar page. We would love to help you choose what works best for your family and answer any questions you may have. If you are going to be self-pay for any of our daytime homeschool classes listed on this page, we still ask that you email us before registering.
Interested in planning a field trip for a one-time experience in clay? We offer special rates for field trip groups, up to 20 participants! Field trips are typically about 90 minutes long and participants can customize their projects and we will glaze it for them in a glaze color of their choice. Fill out a Special Events form and we will confirm availability for your group.

Beginning & Intermediate Pottery Wheel

Ready for a fun challenge? Come learn the basics of wheel-throwing!
In this Pottery Wheel class, students will explore the fundamentals of wheel-thrown ceramics in a fun, supportive environment. Guided by an experienced instructor, students will learn how to center clay, form basic shapes like bowls, sacuers and cups, trim & apply colorful glazes. Each week builds on the last, encouraging creativity, patience, and fine motor skills.
All clay, glazes and shared tools are included.

Your wild journey in clay begins here!
Beginning Handbuilding teaches foundational skills for forming ceramic objects using pinch, coil and slab techniques. Students will receive instruction, construction time, and assistance as needed. Projects vary in both functional and sculptural works. Students in this class will produce between 6-8 small or medium projects in a semester. All clay, glazes, shared tools and firings are included in pricing.
Makeup time for missed classes due to illness are available at specified Drop-In times.
