Our One-Time Pottery Wheel Classes are a great way to start your adventure in clay!
Learn the basics of the pottery wheel in a supportive learning environment taught by a professional ceramic artist. This class is meant to introduce you to wheel-throwing technique. If you enjoy this experience, you are welcome to take it again but we also recommend that you consider one of our beginning wheel-throwing class for several weeks to continue to practice and grow as a budding artist. Contact us directly if you would like to book for a private group or entire family!
Come learn wheel-throwing basics like coning, centering and pulling. Expect to get messy and laugh at yourself while learning in a fun, lively environment. We aim to help everyone complete 2 pots each. Max of 3 pieces may be kept and fired per $90 session–competitors charge more and only allow 1 piece to be kept!
When you make a cup/bowl/plate successfully, we will trim and glaze it professionally for you in one of our in-house glaze recipes and have it ready in about 4-6 weeks!
This one-time class may be repeated as often as you’d like if our regular classes don’t fit your schedule.
Due to limited seating, cancellations less than 72 hrs cannot be refunded.
Rescheduling on the same day will be charged a $25 fee per person. Rescheduling 1-2 days ahead of time will be charged $10 per person. Rescheduling your date more than 48 hrs in advance will not incur a fee.

They have commercial glazes and underglazes and some others they include! They have a wide variety of same amazing clay! They have wheel and hand building spaces! Wild Clay’s different memberships accommodate different needs and the classes (one time/ 4 times and 8 times) teach you so much! The other teachers and techs (Kris, Naomi and Ava) are genuinely so awesome and knowledgeable! I am so thankful to have found them and be a part of the wild clay community!!!
