Our One-Time Pottery Wheel Classes are a great way to start your adventure in clay! Perfect for a date night idea, ladies night, or a parent & child experience (min age 10 yrs old). Have you always been curious about taking a wheel-throwing pottery class but never have? Has it been several years (or decades!) since your previous experience and want to try it out again? Then this is your kind of class!
Learn the basics of the pottery wheel in a supportive learning environment taught by a professional artist with decades of experience. This class is meant to introduce you to wheel-throwing technique. If you enjoy this experience, you are welcome to take it again but we also recommend that you consider one of our beginning wheel-throwing class for several weeks to continue to practice and grow as a budding artist. Come learn wheel-throwing basics like coning, centering and pulling. Expect to get messy and laugh at yourself while learning in a fun, lively environment. We aim to help everyone complete 2 pots each. Up to 3 pieces may be kept and fired per session.
When you make a cup/bowl/plate successfully, we will trim and glaze it professionally for you in one of our in-house glaze recipes and have it ready in about 4-6 weeks!
This one-time class may be repeated as often as you’d like if our regular classes don’t fit your schedule.
Due to limited seating, cancellations less than 72 hrs cannot be refunded.
Rescheduling on the same day will be charged a $25 fee per person. Rescheduling 1-2 days ahead of time will be charged $10 per person. Rescheduling your date more than 48 hrs in advance will not incur a fee.
